Tickets for cruises and motorcoach tours may be purchased online by clicking the "Buy Tickets" button on each ferry or tour's web page. We accept Discover Network, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and JCB. There is a per ticket service charge for telephone and Web orders. You may also purchase tickets at the PIER 39 Marine Terminal Box Office located in PIER 39’s West Park.

Blue & Gold Fleet has been conveniently located on San Francisco’s historic waterfront since 1979.

Some Blue & Gold Fleet cruises are seasonal and do not operate during inclement weather. Please check with the Box Office on day of sailing for possible schedule changes.

Blue & Gold ferry vessels are accessible to people with disabilities. The dock and gangway ramps used to embark and disembark from the vessels have reduced slopes and an accessible restroom is available. Passengers using wheelchairs have multiple seating options interspersed throughout the boats. Friendly deck hands are happy to provide additional assistance requested by passengers with disabilities. 

Motorcoach tours include round-trip transportation and admission only where noted. Time is provided for lunch on the Yosemite, Wine Country and Monterey/Carmel Tours.

Blue & Gold Fleet Motorcoach Tours book seating space on fully insured PUC/TCP licensed coaches and acts as their agent.

All Blue & Gold Fleet Motorcoach Tours depart from Pier 43 1/2 in Fisherman’s Wharf, except for the Motorized Cable Car Tour which departs from PIER 39. Meals are not included. Food is available for purchase at select destinations.

Parking is available at the PIER 39 Garage located directly across The Embarcadero from PIER 39 and Blue & Gold Fleet.

Environment Awards Garnered by Blue & Gold Fleet

Blue & Gold Fleet has been widely recognized as a commercial harbor craft environmental leader within the San Francisco Bay region, the State of California, as well as across the United States. Blue & Gold has received numerous national recognized awards for its environmental programs and accomplishments.

The Port of San Francisco recognized Blue & Gold Fleet for its environmental leadership in the marine industry. The California Environmental Protection Agency Department of Toxic Substance Control recognized Blue & Gold Fleet for a successful initiative to reduce vessel waste giving them the pollution prevention award.

In 2005, the Executive Officer of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District recognized Blue & Gold efforts in achieving attainment for federal air pollution standards.

In 2004, several awards were garnered: The Department of the Interior and the National Park Service Environmental Achievement Awards for partnerships in sustainable practices, pollution prevention, and air emissions reductions. The California Governor’s Environmental and Economic Achievement Award for Sustainability. The US Environmental Protection Agency Region 9 Environmental Achievement Award for the development and use of air emission control technologies within the harbor marine industry. Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi then of the United States Senate recognized Blue & Gold Fleet for its environmental leadership. 

California EPA Industrial Waste management Board 2003 and 2004 “Waste Reduction Award” and the 2003 “WRAP of the Year” winner for outstanding efforts to reduce non-hazardous waste. 

In 2003 the California State Assembly recognized the Blue & Gold Fleet with an award of recognition for its environmental leadership.
